Hounds Risk Disclosure

Last updated: October 14, 2026Version 2026-10-14

Please read this before you trade. It is part of our Terms of Service.

The short version

  • Meme tokens are among the riskiest assets that exist. Most of them go to zero. Only trade money you can afford to lose completely.
  • Hounds signals are information, not advice. We show what happened on-chain and how earlier signals turned out. We do not tell you what to buy, and we never promise you will make money.
  • Our results are about price, not profit. "Reached 5×" means the price at some moment reached five times the push price. You probably bought later and higher, and probably did not sell at the top.
  • On-chain transactions cannot be undone, and whoever holds a private key controls the funds.
  • Hounds is not available in mainland China or in sanctioned countries and regions.

1. Market risk

  • New tokens can rise or fall by more than 90% within minutes.
  • Many tokens are launched to take buyers' money: developers or insiders sell everything ("rug pull"), tokens that cannot be sold ("honeypot"), hidden minting, fake volume, coordinated pump-and-dump.
  • Liquidity can disappear. You may not be able to sell at any price.
  • Prices shown in the Service may be delayed or wrong, especially in fast markets.

2. Understanding Hounds signals and track records

  • A signal reports activity that our rules or models flagged at a specific time. It is generated automatically and can be wrong.
  • Labels on cards ("worth a look", "in and out quickly", "not recommended", "no view yet") describe the signal, not your situation.
  • We publish every signal we send, including the ones that went to zero. Results shown are measured from the price at push time; the "highest multiple" is the highest price reached afterwards, which almost nobody captures.
  • Signed-out visitors see signals about one hour late. By then much of the move may have happened.
  • Past signal results, however good, do not mean future signals will do as well.
  • AI-generated explanations, if shown, can contain mistakes. Check the data yourself.

3. Execution risk

  • Slippage and price impact: you may receive fewer tokens than quoted, or sell for less.
  • MEV / front-running: other traders can see your pending transaction and trade ahead of it. Anti-MEV settings reduce but do not remove this risk.
  • Failed transactions can still cost network fees.
  • Network fees: if your wallet lacks native coin (SOL, BNB, etc.), you may be unable to sell. The Service keeps back a small reserve for one sell when you still hold tokens, but fees can rise above that reserve.
  • Delays: congestion, RPC outages or our own systems can delay orders.

4. Automated features

Auto-buy, copy trading and take-profit / stop-loss rules act on your settings without asking you each time. They can buy tokens that immediately crash, fail when they matter most, or repeat losses quickly. Following other wallets ("smart money", KOLs) has not, in our own measurements, been a reliable way to make money. Review your settings regularly.

5. Wallet and key risk

  • Generated wallets are held by Hounds in encrypted form. You depend on our security and availability.
  • Imported wallets: anyone else who has the key can empty the wallet at any time.
  • Exported keys: once exported, the key is your responsibility. If someone sees it, they control the funds and nobody can reverse it.
  • Account takeover: if someone gets into your account, they can place trades. Use a strong unique password, turn on 2FA and sign out unknown devices. Withdrawals have extra protections (trading PIN, 2FA, a 24-hour pause after security changes, a waiting period for new addresses, limits, and security alert emails with a freeze link), but trades do not require a PIN.
  • Sending funds to a wrong address or network usually means they are lost.

6. Cross-chain and third-party risk

Bridges, swap aggregators, RPC providers and blockchains are run by third parties. They can fail, be hacked, pause, or change fees. Cross-chain transfers can be delayed or stuck.

7. Legal and tax risk

Crypto rules differ by country and change often. You are responsible for knowing whether you may use the Service and for any taxes you owe. Hounds does not provide tax or legal advice.

8. No guarantee

Hounds does not guarantee profits, does not guarantee any signal's outcome, and is not responsible for trading losses. If you do not understand these risks, do not trade.
