Sell strategies
Updated 2026-09-29
In short
Double-out, take-profit ladder, trailing stop, stop loss and time stop run automatically on live on-chain prices. Set your defaults once; each position card can switch them on or off.
🎯 Sell strategy (or /strategy) sets the strategies attached to every new position. Each row has a toggle (✅ on / ▫️ off) and ✏️ Edit to set your own parameters. New users start with Double-out at 2x switched on and everything else off. Changing the defaults does not change existing positions — use the toggles on each position card for that.
All multiples are measured against your buy price. Everything runs on the server on live prices.
| Strategy (button) | What it does | Default | ✏️ Edit format (range) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Double-out | When the price reaches the multiple, sells just enough to get your cost (incl. fees) back; the rest rides for free. At 2x that is roughly half the position, at 3x about a third. Fires once. | 2x | 3 (1.1–100) |
| Take-profit ladder | At each multiple, sells that percentage of your initial amount (or whatever is left). | 2x → 33%, 5x → 33%, 10x → 33% | 2:30 5:30 10:40 — up to 6 steps, multiples increasing (1.05–1000), total ≤ 100% |
| Trailing | Arms once the peak has reached the start multiple; then sells everything if the price falls that % from the peak. | start 2x, drop 50% | 2 50 (multiple 1–1000, drop 5–95%) |
| Stop 50% | Sells everything when the price is that % below your buy price. (The button always reads "Stop 50%" even if you changed the %.) | −50% | 50 (5–95) |
| Time stop | After N minutes, if the highest price since you bought never reached the multiple, sells everything. If it reached the multiple at any time, it never fires. | 30 min, 1.2x | 30 1.2 (1–1440 min, 1–100x) |
How they combine:
- You can enable any combination. When several trigger at the same price the order is: stop loss → time stop → trailing → double-out → ladder steps. Each rule (and each ladder step) fires only once, and one action is executed at a time, so nothing is oversold.
- Live positions sell one step per price update, with a short settling pause (about 8 seconds) after each fill.
- You get "✅ Strategy executed: $SYM
, sold x% of the remainder (y.yyx), the rest keeps running / position closed." - Auto-trade and auto-copy positions get a −50% stop loss automatically if you haven't enabled a stop loss yourself.
- If a strategy sell fails on-chain, that step is already marked done and is not retried automatically — sell manually from the position card.
